About Me

Hey Guys. Thanks for checking out my blog :)

I love reading above pretty much anything else- with the exception of belting out Disney duets with my brother and perhaps dancing around in my room to 80s movie hits.
I am also an aspiring writer and I hope to get a book published eventually or become a journalist.  Of course, when I told my Grandfather this all he said to me was "well, you better start writing now," so this blog is how I decided to mix my dream of becoming a journalist and my passion for being dragged into the world of books.

Anyway, this blog is currently just for reviews but, I guess we will have to see where the future takes us.  I will do my best to cover as many genres as possible but I must admit, I am a lover of fantasy, historical fiction and dystopian books and am a confessed romantic- I know, I can’t help it.

So, why Attic Salt Reviews?
Attic salt is a term that was used in the 18th century which means refined, incisive wit.  I chose this name because I love the term; it’s sort of quirky and different, and attic salt language is the kind that I tend to be drawn to; clear and direct while also wily and droll.

"There is the attic salt which springs from the charm in the words, from the flash of wit, from the spirited and brilliant sally.”  - W. A. Clouston

If you have any books that you think I should read and review PLEASE feel free to shoot me an email.  Find out how to contact me here.  I’d love to discover new books and am always happy to give an honest opinion on them.
